TEKEVER Ukraine: A New Hub for Unmanned Systems

TEKEVER has officially joined Diia.City, moving from external support to a permanent industrial presence in Ukraine. This TEKEVER Ukraine R&D hub expansion 2026 focuses on building resilient, autonomous drones capable of operating in heavy electronic warfare environments.

The R&D Strategy

By establishing a TEKEVER local entity Ukraine defense support, the Portuguese firm is hiring local engineers to refine its AR3 and AR5 platforms. The goal is to improve AI-driven target identification and satellite communication (SATCOM) for long-range missions.

Why It Matters

As one of the top European drone manufacturers in Ukraine, TEKEVER is creating a direct feedback loop between the frontline and the lab. devs.com.pt recently reported that this integration allows for real-time software updates to counter signal jamming.

For other software development companies entering the defense sector, TEKEVER’s move sets a high bar for local commitment. This local presence will speed up the production of high-performance systems, making Ukraine a global leader in autonomous innovation.
