PwC Portugal has reportedly initiated a silent layoff in its technology divisions, particularly affecting OutSystems, Salesforce, SAP, and cybersecurity teams, putting over 250 jobs at risk.
The restructuring, which began last year at the TSP (Territory Senior Partner) level, stems from a strategic shift prioritizing profit redistribution to departing senior partners over investment in innovation areas. The process started by removing partners from these divisions—two earlier in 2024 and the last two in recent days.
This decision marks a significant divestment from technology and innovation, raising concerns about the firm's future positioning in these critical areas.
