Spanish technology group Plexus Tech has acquired Portuguese data and AI specialist BI4ALL, marking a major step in its international growth strategy. Headquartered in Lisbon with an office in Porto, BI4ALL brings over two decades of expertise in Data Strategy, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, backed by a 370-strong team of specialists. The company already generates more than 80% of its revenue abroad, with a strong footprint in the U.S., DACH region, and Benelux.
With this deal, Plexus Tech now counts more than 4,600 professionals worldwide, including over 530 in Portugal. The company, which already works with around 80% of IBEX35 firms, operates across sectors such as banking, insurance, healthcare, public services, education, travel, and retail. Backed by minority shareholder Portobello Capital, Plexus sees the move as a way to deepen its capabilities in data and AI.
BI4ALL will keep its brand and culture but gain access to Plexus’s broader expertise in software engineering, cybersecurity, SAP, DevOps, and its own proprietary products in healthcare and education. For BI4ALL’s leadership, the merger unlocks access to new markets while reinforcing their ability to deliver advanced AI-driven solutions to clients worldwide.
