Portuguese telco NOS is rolling out artificial intelligence in its legal team — and the results are already clear. According to head of legal Francisco Nazareth, routine requests are now handled “faster and more efficiently,” while maintaining a higher level of accuracy than manual work.
The system, built with DareData on the Gen-OS platform, classifies requests, gathers the right information, and drafts responses. A human-in-the-loop model ensures lawyers stay in control while freeing them from repetitive tasks.
The impact? Around 640 hours saved every month, giving the legal team more space to focus on strategic work. NOS now plans to extend Gen-OS to finance, HR, procurement, risk management, and customer operations.
