After eight incredible years, Miguel Garcia is stepping down from his role leading Tech Locations and CoreIT at New Work SE, where he oversaw teams across Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Austria — growing from 35 engineers in Porto to over 300 professionals across four countries.
“When I joined XING (now New Work SE), I had no idea it would turn into such a fulfilling journey,” Miguel shares. “What made the difference? The amazing people I worked with.”
He gives special thanks to Torben Schwellnus, Jens Pape, Juciely Pimentel, Montse Olivan Valdés, Ana Rocha, and Dimitri Elzer, among others, and expresses gratitude to colleagues and leaders across Hamburg, Munich, Vienna, Porto, Valencia, and Barcelona.
“I’m proud of what we built together — and excited to see it grow. Now it’s time for the next chapter,” says Miguel. “New challenges ahead. I’ll keep you posted.”
