Recruitment firm Interplanetary Talent Services (IPTS) bought the reputation platform Talent Protocol. Through the deal, IPTS gets access to 6.6 million verified builder profiles. The system uses a special Builder Score. It measures code and shipped products instead of traditional resumes.
Both companies grew out of the Protocol Labs ecosystem. The acquisition helps IPTS find top talent in AI, cryptography, and hardware. Talent Protocol will now close commercial operations and turn its tool into a free public app. Users can calculate their own Builder Score using GitHub and blockchain data.
