Portuguese healthtech startup Hope Care has closed a €6 million Series A funding round led by Iberis Capital, with participation from VDM Capital and Buenavista Equity Partners, to fuel its expansion into France and Germany.
Hope Care €6 million Series A remote patient monitoring
Hope Care builds certified medical software for remote patient monitoring. Its core platform, OpMA, integrates medical device data and clinical workflows to help manage chronic illnesses.
At home, its technology is used in 15 local health units, covering about 45% of patients in Portugal's National Health Service (SNS). Following strong sales growth in early 2026, the company is now scaling its international footprint.
Portuguese digital health startup funding
The new capital will fund team growth, sales expansion, and international rollouts. Hope Care has already established a German branch in Erlangen, with its first local implementation planned for October.
As European healthcare systems face growing pressure from chronic conditions, investors highlight that Hope Care's platform offers a scalable model for public health integration, creating high-tech jobs and showcasing innovations at industry events.
