Felgueiras Secondary School (ESF) has launched a Specialized Technological Center (CTE) for Informatics. Backed by 1.1 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), the facility brings modern technical training to the local municipality.
The investment funded advanced equipment across six labs dedicated to artificial intelligence, robotics, networks, multimedia, and electronics.
Expanding Vocational Training and Skills
The center introduces two new vocational courses: Software Development Technician and Computer Systems and Networks Technician. These programs join the existing Multimedia track, offering level 4 professional certifications for up to 28 students per class.
The school's teaching staff completed specialized technical training to manage the new equipment and teach emerging areas like AI.
