Dachser, a leading German logistics multinational, is set to invest €14 million in a new logistics center in Zaragoza, Spain, creating 100 jobs over the next three years.
Located in the Zaragoza Logistics Platform (Plaza), the center will span 12,045 m² on a 74,788 m² site. The facility will include 100 loading bays, warehouse space, offices, and parking for 92 swapbodies, with expansion potential for an additional 11,700 m² and 130 swapbody slots.
Scheduled to begin operations in January 2026, the center will enhance Dachser’s shipment capacity by 50%, supporting growth in national and European markets.
"This project will optimize logistics, increase storage, and modernize infrastructure for sustainable growth," said Moisés Beltran, Dachser's general manager in Aragón.
Dachser’s Zaragoza operations already employ 400 people and manage direct routes to France, Germany, and Italy, with connections to the Nordic region through Germany. The new center is expected to handle over 200,000 tonnes and 800,000 shipments annually.
