Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven and conversational flows.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
• Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs and modern communication protocols.
• Work with data formats and protocols such as JSON, XML, and gRPC.
• Apply advanced prompting techniques, including agents, tools, and mechanisms that influence agent behavior.
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models and knowledge bases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Review, refactor, and improve both new and existing source code.
• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to support application stability.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams in complex and dynamic environments.
• Support technical decision-making and contribute to product evolution.
• Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Explore new technologies and work effectively in contexts with uncertainty and limited documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Up to 10 years of experience in the relevant platform, language, technology, or framework.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, communication protocols, and knowledge bases.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models and AI-driven development concepts.
• Experience with advanced prompting techniques, including agents, tools, and agent behavior mechanisms.
• Experience with C#, or strong experience in another programming language such as Python or JavaScript, with openness to work with multiple technologies.
• Experience developing conversational flows, AI-driven flows, or low-code solutions.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, gRPC, and other data communication protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in collaborative environments and with global teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Resilience and tolerance for frustration when dealing with debugging, uncertainty, and limited documentation.
• Proactive attitude, ownership mindset, and strong execution capacity.
• Commitment to quality, security, performance, and reliable deliveries.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market.
• Knowledge of GDPR/RGPD requirements.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Previous experience in software development projects.
• Experience in customer contact center environments, including conversational flows, authentication steps, user journey design, and real-time customer interactions.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience working in SaaS environments.
• Experience in large-scale digital transformation projects.
