AI/ML Engineer

About the position

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer focused on the development and optimization of language and generative models to join our team and contribute to the creation of advanced artificial intelligence systems.

The role will have a strong focus on model engineering, including adaptation, fine-tuning, inference optimization, and implementation of locally executed models.

Projects and Products

You will play a central role in building and optimizing Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, working with open-source models and modern NLP architectures.

The work includes:

- Adaptation and fine-tuning of language models

- Inference optimization and computational efficiency

- Implementation of training and evaluation pipelines for models

- Integration of models into AI-based products

In addition to projects for clients, we are also developing our own AI product, allowing you to work directly in innovation and applied research.

Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, focusing on language models and generative systems.

- Fine-tune and adapt open-source models for specific use cases.

- Work with locally executed models, including inference optimization and resource management.

- Build training, evaluation, and implementation pipelines for models.

- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI models into applications.

- Define and apply model evaluation metrics, ensuring performance, robustness, and reliability.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related scientific field.

- A Master's or PhD in areas related to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or NLP is valued.

- Practical experience in the development and training of Machine Learning or Deep Learning models.

- Advanced programming in Python.

- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.

- Experience in building training, evaluation, and implementation pipelines for models.

We value

- Experience with Transformers and the Hugging Face ecosystem.

- Experience in efficient fine-tuning of models (e.g., LoRA or QLoRA).

- Experience with inference frameworks for language models (e.g., vLLM).

- Knowledge of optimization and quantization techniques for models (like GGUF, GPTQ, or AWQ).

- Experience in running and optimizing open-source models in local environments.

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
