About the Role

We are looking for a Field Support Technician specialized in audio, video, television, and radio systems, responsible for ensuring operational continuity, technical quality, and compliance with contracted service levels.

The role involves on-site technical support, installation, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual and broadcast equipment in professional production and broadcast environments, including game days and live events.

Key Requirements

- At least 3 years of proven experience in Field Support or similar technical support roles.

- Experience in audiovisual production and/or broadcast environments.

- Experience in critical operational contexts or live broadcasting (preferred).

- Valid driving license.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site technical support for audio, video, television, and radio systems at various locations (Stadium and Campus in Seixal).

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of audiovisual and broadcast equipment.

- Provide technical support to studios, technical rooms, mobile units, and remote production sites.

- Assist in recording, production, and live broadcasting operations.

- Monitor technical systems and proactively detect failures or degradation of service.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.

- Provide technical support during events and operations (major league game days and sports events).

- Record, report, and document incidents, interventions, and technical changes.

- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and technology partners.

Technical Skills

- Professional audio systems: microphones, mixing desks, intercoms, amplifiers.

- Professional video and broadcast systems: cameras, video switchers, codecs/decoders, monitors.

- Television and radio infrastructure: production, broadcasting, studios, and technical rooms.

- Analog and digital signals: SDI, HDMI, AES/EBU.

- Knowledge of broadcasting and IP networks applied to audiovisual (VLAN, multicast, streaming).

- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and functional layouts.

- Proficiency in using testing and measurement tools for audio and video signals.

- Experience in broadcast automation and IP-based systems.

- Knowledge in audiovisual system integration.

- Experience in 24/7 operational environments.
