We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join the team of our client - a reference company in the banking sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

- Manage activities related to database administration services, ensuring that the requirements are met by the database administration service.

- Manage priorities and oversee activities.

- Define standards, produce and maintain documentation and guidelines for installation, operations, and security.

- Maintain the database inventory, ensuring its update as well as vulnerability and security management.

What is required from you?

- Degree in Computer Engineering or other similar areas.

- Ideally, 8 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), with comprehensive knowledge of all main DBA responsibilities (availability, performance optimization, data security, database recovery, capacity management, monitoring, backup and recovery policies, user management, update and patching policies, and documentation production and maintenance).

- Experience implementing projects and working in complex, demanding environments.

- Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
