Role Overview :

As we continue to build and enhance our data platform, we are looking for an Associate Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their technical skills and contribute to building reliable, scalable data solutions. You will work under the guidance of senior team members, focusing on foundational tasks such as data transformations, quality checks, and schema design, while learning best practices in modern analytics engineering.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Fivetran, and to grow into a more senior role over time.

What You Will Do :

- In this role, you will focus on implementing foundational data transformations, moving data from the Bronze layer to the Silver layer using dbt.

- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data quality tests to ensure accuracy and reliability across datasets.

- You will assist in designing star schemas and other dimensional models that support analytics and reporting needs.

- You will handle small tasks and bug fixes within existing pipelines and models, following established best practices and under the supervision of senior team members.

- Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with the team to understand requirements and deliver solutions while actively seeking feedback to improve your skills.

- You will demonstrate self-management and accountability for assigned tasks, contributing to team-level initiatives and building proficiency in core tools such as dbt, SQL, and Snowflake.

- Exposure to Python for automation and scripting will be considered a strong plus.

Who You Are :

- You have an academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

- You bring basic experience or a strong interest in SQL, dbt, and modern data platforms, and you are familiar with concepts such as ELT, data modeling, and data quality testing.

- You are a proactive learner who seeks feedback and demonstrates ownership of small tasks, with a strong desire to grow your technical expertise.

- Clear communication in English and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential.

- While not mandatory, familiarity with Python for data pipeline automation or scripting will be an advantage.

- Above all, you are detail-oriented, curious, and committed to developing your skills in analytics engineering.
