Senior Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to integrate a hybrid project in Lisbon.

Profile:

- At least 5 years of experience in fullstack software engineering.

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

- Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot) backend development.

- Strong experience in React with TypeScript, including modern state management libraries (Redux, Context API).

- Skilled in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS and JavaScript (ES6+).

- Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS preferred, but not mandatory), including cloud-native principles such as Infrastructure-as-Code and observability.

- Familiarity with microservice and event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git) and containerisation.

- Strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL).

- Python (preferably Flask) knowledge is a plus.

- Understanding of architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM) and modern software design principles.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and a DevSecOps mindset.

- Exposure to SAFe, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.

- High sense of ownership, curiosity and collaborative spirit.

- Eager to learn and continuously improve, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.

- Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and operate end-to-end solutions with modern cloud infrastructure and web technologies.

- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable fullstack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React with TypeScript.

- Focus on RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQTT, Kinesis, etc.) and microservice ecosystems.

- Create and deploy customer-facing products, prototypes and MVPs in the automotive IoT context.

- Ensure quality and performance by applying Clean Code principles and following modern architecture patterns.

- Take full ownership of your products—from conception through to deployment and support (DevOps approach).

- Collaborate across disciplines and teams to integrate your solutions within the broader vehicle systems landscape.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance within the fullstack development domain.

- Continuously investigate and evaluate new tools, techniques, and trends to improve delivery and user experience.
