Integrated into the Service Monitoring Operations team, we are looking for a Monitoring Data Engineer.
What we expect from you
- Development of automations and new features in Java and JavaScript for process optimization. Management and support of automation platforms in a Linux environment.
- Administration and optimization of data pipelines with Kafka and ELK Stack, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability in cloud and on-premises. Integration and processing of large data volumes in BigQuery.
- Analysis and resolution of bugs and incidents, with implementation of robust solutions. Collaboration on AI and Machine Learning projects.
- Ensuring operational quality, maintenance of platforms, and continuous improvement of processes, promoting efficiency and automation.
- Excellent learning ability and a genuine motivation to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies.
Who we are looking for
- Academic background in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in development, support, or application operations roles, with a clear focus on data systems, Big Data, or automation, preferably in IT or telecommunications.
- Solid knowledge of Linux Operating System Administration.
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript programming languages, as well as SQL.
Valuable Knowledge
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services.
- Knowledge of data pipeline management tools, such as Apache Kafka and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (e.g., GitHub), and monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Agents, and MCP servers.
