Patch management & vulnerability engineer

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

Objective:

Enhance critical skills in Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation, increasing response capacity, automation, and operational control over endpoint security.

Mission:

Ensure effective, automated, and sustainable remediation of vulnerabilities in Windows systems, ensuring that fixes are permanent and that there are automatic mechanisms to prevent reoccurrence of vulnerabilities.

Scope:

• Patch management of Windows endpoints;
• Monitoring of vulnerabilities in Linux (Rocky 8) and macOS;
• Coordination with vendors/other teams responsible for Linux and macOS;
• Use of the Tenable tool as an end user.

Main Responsibilities:

• Management of Windows patch management using Azure/Intune and SCCM;
• Handling of operating system and application vulnerabilities;
• Development of customized remediations;
• Creation of automatic correction and prevention mechanisms;
• Use of PsExec for specific interventions;
• Testing and validations in laboratory environments (virtual machines);
• Vulnerability analysis via Tenable;
• Monitoring and closing vulnerabilities with vendors;
• Production of evidence and reporting for audit and compliance.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Experience in similar roles for over 2 years;
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems;
• Experience in large-scale patch management;
• Strong advanced troubleshooting capability;
• Strong experience with Azure/Intune and SCCM;
• Operational use of Tenable - Automation and Scripting;
• High proficiency in PowerShell;
• Development of remediation scripts;
• Automation of recurring fixes;
• Creation of self-healing solutions;
• Building custom internal tools for daily work optimization.

Complementary Skills:

• Ability to analyze vulnerabilities in Linux and macOS;
• Good technical communication with vendors and other teams;
• Familiarity with ITSM processes - Behavioral Profile;
• Strong sense of ownership;
• Technical autonomy;
• Ability to handle complex problems;
• Continuous improvement mindset;
• Good communication and operational rigor.

Work regime: Hybrid 2x a week - Maia.
