Middleware support engineer (m/f) - Lisbon/hybrid

Description

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain middleware solutions;
• Ensure operational controls that guarantee the stability of services in production;
• Create and maintain monitoring and alert systems;
• Periodically review configurations to ensure the integrity and consistency of environments;
• Analyze and resolve incidents and service anomalies;
• Monitor performance and perform tuning of processes and applications;
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Experience in middleware platform support (over 2 years);
• Experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Linux System Administration is relevant;
• Experience in analyzing and resolving incidents in a production environment (monitoring, troubleshooting, RCA);
• Knowledge of Java from a support perspective (reading logs, identifying errors, basic application behavior analysis);
• Experience in Shell scripting for task automation, diagnostics, and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Git;
• Ability to analyze performance and optimize processes/applications;
• Experience with observability practices and log centralization;
• Basic knowledge of networks and distributed system architecture.

Experience with tools (valued):

• ElasticSearch / Logstash / Filebeat (logging stack);
• Prometheus (monitoring);
• Apache Pulsar, Etcd (valued).

Location: Alfragide, hybrid regime.
