Noesis is looking for a team member to strengthen a Compute and Cloud Native Systems team, focusing on the support of on-premises virtualization platforms, namely VMware / KVM, and public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Plan, install, manage, troubleshoot, and evolve infrastructures with hundreds of hypervisors having a strong understanding of Storage, networks, and backups.
  • Infrastructure and service optimization: Be competent in improving the design of infrastructures to make them more resilient to incidents.
  • Implementation of automations for constant improvement of operations: Minimize human error and manual repetitive operations.
  • Planning of new solutions, infrastructures, and services: Close relationship with engineering for the development of new solutions and products in our infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 3 years in virtualization platforms;
  • Experience in implementing and managing VMware virtualization platforms;
  • Experience in implementing and managing KVM / Oracle OVM platform;
  • Scripting/programming languages: JavaScript, shell, PowerCLI, JavaScript;
  • Basic knowledge of Networking and Security;
  • Basic knowledge of SAN Storage;
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems;

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluent English
  • Need to ensure prevention

Preferred Conditions:

  • Higher education in Computer Engineering or similar
  • Experience in implementing virtualization platforms in environments > 1000 VMs
  • Certifications in on-premises and public Cloud virtualization components
