Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer – Azure & AI Delivery to integrate our teams into a high-impact data engineering and integration environment. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end integration delivery, combining deep Azure expertise with AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery, standardise reusable patterns, and drive solutions from requirements through to production with minimal oversight.

What you will do:

• Build and extend reusable integration system wrappers in Python across a diverse technology landscape;
• Lead AI-assisted development as the default approach—scaffolding Azure Function Apps, generating Logic Apps workflows, drafting API Management policies, and automating tests, IaC, and documentation;
• Contribute to and evolve an integration “factory” by standardising patterns such as error handling, retry logic, logging, and payload structures;
• Design and implement Azure-native integration solutions using Function Apps (Python), Logic Apps Standard, Service Bus, and API Management;
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support adapter delivery, including automated testing, linting, and controlled deployment gates to ensure delivery quality.

What you are like:

• Experienced in Azure integration services, including Function Apps, Logic Apps Standard, Service Bus, and API Management, with hands-on configuration and delivery;
• Proficient in Python development, producing production-grade code with robust error handling, logging, and automated test coverage (e.g., pytest);
• Skilled in applying AI-assisted development techniques within your workflow to accelerate delivery and improve consistency (code scaffolding, IaC generation, documentation automation);
• Strong understanding of integration architecture patterns, including event-driven design, asynchronous messaging, and reusable adapter frameworks;
• Comfortable owning workstreams end-to-end, proactively driving progress, identifying risks, and communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders;
• Familiar with CI/CD practices and integration factory concepts, with a focus on scalability, reusability, and standardisation.
