Role Overview:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our teams, contributing to the quality and reliability of web and API-based applications. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing solutions, with a strong emphasis on modern testing frameworks and solid programming foundations, supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices in Agile environments.
What You Will Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts for web and API applications;
- Develop automated tests primarily using Cypress, ensuring reliable and maintained test suites;
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps;
- Ensure adequate test coverage for functional, regression, and performance tests;
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues;
- Contribute to defining testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards;
- Execute API tests using tools such as Postman;
- Document test cases, test results, and automation processes to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.
Who You Are:
- Proficient in test automation frameworks, with strong hands-on experience in Cypress;
- Experience with TestCafe (a plus);
- Solid programming background (mandatory), particularly in JavaScript or similar languages;
- Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps;
- Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools like Postman;
- Knowledge of performance testing tools, such as JMeter or Azure Load Testing;
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies;
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying quality risks;
- Fluent in English.
