Role Overview:
We are looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our teams and support one of our clients in building, operating, and evolving a Cloud Data Platform. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with a strong background in DevOps and cloud who enjoy being responsible for the entire lifecycle of the platform. You will play a key role in creating a scalable, reliable, and user-friendly platform that enables data services across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation);
- Build, standardize and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab;
- Manage and optimize AWS workloads (ECS, EC2, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, WAF) that support data services and platforms;
- Operate and support containerized microservices using Docker and ECS;
- Monitor platforms and applications, ensuring high availability and reliability through observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Coralogix);
- Resolve incidents in pre-production and production environments, contributing to continuous improvements;
- Closely collaborate with data, development and architecture teams to facilitate effective platform adoption;
- Contribute to best practices in DevOps, platform engineering and operational excellence.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles, fully responsible for cloud platforms;
- Proficient in AWS services, particularly ECS, EC2, Glue, Athena, CloudFront and WAF;
- Highly skilled in Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform and/or CloudFormation;
- Comfortable building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab and Git-based workflows;
- At ease working with containerized environments (Docker, microservices) and Linux/Unix systems;
- Knowledgeable in monitoring, observability, and incident management, with an SRE mindset;
- Collaborative and proactive, able to work closely with multiple teams and support platform adoption;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
