Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Data Analyst to join an international project in the corporate banking sector. The client in question is one of the largest banks in Europe, operating in over 75 countries worldwide, and has been present for more than 175 years, becoming a highly established player in the banking industry.

What you will do:

You will be part of an international and diverse team that supports the Global Markets office in understanding its clients, identifying opportunities, and discovering trends through data analysis. Your role will involve working closely with various business areas within the bank, providing valuable insights to foster business growth, understanding their needs, and implementing data-driven solutions, including analysis, visualization, and automation. You will be responsible for retrieving, preparing, and analyzing complex datasets using statistical models and best practices in data visualization to create reports and develop automated tools that support strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will connect technical and non-technical areas, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and the technical team, translating business needs into technical requirements, and effectively presenting the results of complex analyses.

Who you are:

- Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields;

- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI;

- Experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas);

- Knowledge of SQL;

- Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus;

- Knowledge of Big Data technologies, such as Pyspark, Presto, and Airflow, is a plus;

- Strong organizational and planning skills;

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

- Proficiency in English (mandatory).
