The Group Leader - Senior Product Owner will oversee and guide a team of software developers within the industrial/manufacturing of IoT devices related to Public Security Management.
This role is based in Ovar - Aveiro region and requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure project success and team efficiency.

Description
- Manage and lead a team of software developers to achieve project objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development projects from inception to completion.
- Establish and maintain software engineering processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development with business goals.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Report progress and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Senior Product Owner should have:
- Experience as Product Owner, Quality Assurance Manager or Engineering Manager;
- Hands-on working experience with software development, mainly C/C++;
- Experience with multi-disciplinary product development (HW, FW, SW
- Experience with embedded software;
- Experienced in leading multi-site technical teams, connecting, inspiring and motivating people;
- Excellent team leadership skills;
- Agile/scrum/kanban/SAFe experience with leading, planning, tracking, scrum master;
- Excellent communicator;
- Willing to travel between company locations and customer locations, including international;
- Specific knowledge of communications systems is a plus.
