Job Title: Industrial Design Machining

Location: Aveiro, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & On-site

Summary / Overview: We are looking for a Process Designer for the assembly and machining project of electric motor components and differential housings for hybrid vehicles.

Main Responsibilities and Activities:

• Formalize the technical specifications (Caderno de Encargos) and organize technical proposals with the Purchasing Department
• Analyze the technical relevance of proposals in collaboration with the Process Technology Experts involved
• Assist the Purchasing Department in commercial negotiations
• Define the project milestones, quality assurance processes, and the validation plan.
• Identify, analyze, and formalize all elements requiring an agreement and/or an audit
• Manage the integration of resources into the production line
• Ensure the fine-tuning, start-up, and debugging of production resources
• Ensure the integration of a product into an industrial process including machine/part/tool alignment
• Define the monitoring plan for the process and manufacturing areas involved (training, learning)

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• Reference ranges and operating ranges.
• Piece control plan;
• Experience in 2D and 3D (ability to draw and interpret drawings)
• Catia V6;
• Dimensioning chain;
• Modeling (mold industry);
• Knowledge of the machining and assembly process of parts
• Years of experience: ideally between 5 to 10 years (molds, automotive, etc.);
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical-professional course;
• Intermediate knowledge of English at a conversational level (B2).
