What we are looking for
- +5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
- Strong expertise in Azure.
- Solid experience with Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including in complex production environments.
- Experience with networking concepts (VNet/SNet configuration, routing, DNS, peering).
- Experience implementing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Strong experience in infrastructure performance tuning.
- Proven ability to apply a security-first approach across infrastructure design and DevOps processes.
- Fluency in English (minimum B2).
What is this challenge about
- Design robust and scalable cloud architectures aligned with business requirements, optimizing cost, performance, and security.
- Produce supporting documentation, including infrastructure design, deployment procedures, disaster recovery plans, and other project artifacts.
- Develop IaC scripts (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) to efficiently provision and manage cloud resources.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment across multiple environments.
- Deploy applications in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
- Identify security threats and design mitigation strategies.
- Monitor resource usage and optimize costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, or spot instances.
- Lead infrastructure optimization initiatives for Elasticsearch, including index management and query optimization.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
