What is this challenge about
- Develop APIs using Mule 4 on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Configure and manage APIs through API Manager
- Design integration flows and automate business processes
- Use DataWeave for data transformation (formats: JSON, XML, CSV, databases)
- Implement API-LED architecture and work with REST and SOAP APIs
- Apply enterprise integration patterns (EAI), service-oriented architecture (SOA), and event-driven design
- Integrate with systems such as Salesforce, SAP, SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS S3, etc.
- Use pre-built connectors and create custom connectors when necessary
- Deploy solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and optionally using Docker containers
- Create unit and integration tests using MUnit
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Mule flows
- Participate in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline setup and Git version control
- Ensure API security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS) are applied

What we are looking for
- +3 years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Advanced knowledge of DataWeave
- Proficient in integration patterns, SOA, and event-driven architecture
- Experience using MuleSoft connectors with enterprise systems
- Hands-on experience deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Skilled in writing unit and integration tests (MUnit)
- Familiar with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
- Experience with Git for version control
- Solid understanding of API security protocols
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to document integration flows and logic
- Team player with experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Effective at troubleshooting and resolving integration issues
- Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Living in Lisbon, Coimbra or Braga (Hybrid role)
- Fluent level of English.
