About Responsibilities

At KLx, you will join our Generative AI perimeter, contributing to the backend infrastructure powering a suite of specialized AI assistants.

Working in a collaborative model, you will design, build, and evolve backend systems that ensure performance, scalability, and seamless integration with AI‑driven capabilities.

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer – Generative AI who will architect and implement backend services, integrate AI frameworks, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver intelligent, high‑quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend systems supporting multiple AI assistants.
• Implement secure, well‑designed REST APIs, databases, and server‑side logic ensuring smooth performance and reliable data handling.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to deliver cohesive, high‑quality user experiences tailored to each assistant’s purpose.
• Integrate AI‑driven functionalities to enhance intelligence, automation, and responsiveness across helpdesk, HR, and back‑office operations.
• Participate actively in agile processes: code reviews, sprint planning, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You!

• 5+ years of experience developing backend web applications using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency in building and maintaining REST APIs and ensuring robust data integration.
• A growth mindset, with willingness to expand backend expertise and explore emerging technologies in the AI ecosystem.
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an AI‑focused team, ideally with frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable

• Familiarity with LLMs and cloud platforms, especially Azure, to support AI‑driven solutions.
• Understanding of machine learning and AI concepts to contribute to innovative integrations.
