How You Will Make a Difference:

As a Software Engineer II at Iterable, you will independently complete smaller projects, with regular oversight on new problems or undefined projects. You will prioritize tasks with limited guidance while understanding how your work contributes to the team’s project goals. You will proactively seek guidance from team members or managers when the answer is unknown, form opinions while gathering input from a diverse group of team members, and learn to proactively anticipate small obstacles to execute tasks.

How You Will Make a Difference:

• Complete assigned tasks that are comprehensive and well thought out
• Collaborate proactively with team members to find the best solutions
• Form opinions while seeking input from a diverse group of team members on how to solve a problem
• Recommend solutions to improve existing processes and understand the resources available to overcome unforeseen issues
• Learn to proactively anticipate small obstacles to completing tasks and utilize business unit process knowledge to navigate
• Learn to manage expectations and accurately assess the effort required to achieve goals

We are looking for individuals who have:

• 3+ years of relevant software development experience
• Experience in building scalable, production-ready web applications
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (ideally Scala and/or Java)
• Experience with Elasticsearch and/or other relevant technologies such as Postgres
• Desire to work in a highly remote/distributed but collaborative environment
• Willingness to take on on-call responsibilities
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Legal authorization to work in the EU

• Other Relevant Technologies: Docker / Kubernetes, React
