As a Senior Tech Lead Java/Angular, you will be working for our client, a leader in banking technology, driving the modernization of legacy systems within the financial sector. You will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that ensure robust, scalable, and efficient banking operations—empowering users and stakeholders alike. Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and implementation of features and user stories in accordance with CAA standards, especially noting non-functional requirements.
• Promote best development practices within your squad, including peer reviews, automation, and adhering to Golden Rules.
• Cascade technical architecture and priorities from the train level down to squad members, ensuring alignment and consistency.
• Specify, validate, and oversee technical enablers and manage technical debt to keep systems clean and efficient.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation following established standards.
• Ensure components are seamlessly integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and meet non-functional compliance.
• Support team members’ technical upskilling to foster continuous improvement.
• Implement and track technical industrialization actions, managing debt scores and quality standards within Jira.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders in both English and French, ensuring clarity and transparency.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in senior technical roles within banking or legacy systems.
• Proficiency in Java (8, 17, 21), Angular, Spring Boot, REST API, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Oracle, and Postgres.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and technical documentation.
• Strong proactivity, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience managing development teams and coordinating complex technical projects.
• Fluent in English, with good command of French (spoken and written).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in Agile, DevOps, or cloud technologies.
• Experience in risk and compliance standards related to financial systems.
