Opportunity in Porto with a hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).
As a Senior Workflow Developer at IBM Business Automation, you will work in the IT division of a large global bank, contributing to a critical digitization initiative for Treasury Solutions. Join a diverse, multi-location team and help innovate financial information systems by providing integrated workflows that deliver tangible value to clients and front/back office functions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
- Configure and customize IBM BAW components, including Process Designer, Process Portal, and Coach/Coach View interface.
- Integrate IBM BAW with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Develop user interfaces with Coach and contribute to front-end components, leveraging skills in Angular as a strong asset.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests to validate workflows and business rules.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including process designs and API specifications via Swagger.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and knowledge-sharing sessions within a dynamic team environment.
You are ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in workflow development or case management.
- Practical experience with IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) or IBM Case Manager.
- Experience with IBM Process Designer to model process flows and coaches.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and SOA architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript / ECMAScript for scripting and coach logic.
- Good command of SQL / PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, JIRA, Kanban).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
It is a great asset if you have: (optional)
- Experience in Java / J2EE for custom service integrations.
- Skills in Angular for front-end enhancements.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with documentation tools Confluence and Swagger.
Language required for the position:
Fluent English (good command required).
