In this dynamic position, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines across multiple cloud environments, enabling data-driven decision-making at the highest level. Your expertise will help build robust data ecosystems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to support strategic initiatives and deliver actionable insights.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data engineer with a proven track record of end-to-end data pipeline delivery
  • Deep expertise in designing and operating both real-time and batch data workflows
  • Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, core services), GCP (BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage), or Azure (Databricks)
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and automation
  • Advanced Python development skills for building scalable software services
  • Solid knowledge of modern data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault) including Star Schemas and Semantic Models
  • Expertise in SQL and working with large datasets
  • Experience with data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Spark
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Understanding of streaming technologies like Kafka
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent command of English

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control systems (Git)
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture and real-time analytics
  • Knowledge of advanced data security and governance practices

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering roles, ideally within fast-paced, collaborative environments

  • Based in Portugal
  • Willingness to work in a multi-cloud environment, leveraging cross-cloud architecture
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
