Opportunity based in Lisbon, with a hybrid work model (up to 2 remote days per week).

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work for our client, a leader in the banking industry, focusing on delivering transformational solutions through agile methodologies. You will play a crucial role in bridging business needs and technological solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience. Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze and document detailed requirements
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, user stories and story maps to guide development teams
• Create comprehensive testing documentation and oversee test execution to ensure solution quality
• Draft and update functional and technical documentation as project needs arise
• Communicate effectively with business and technical teams to facilitate understanding and implementation of requirements
• Design and execute SQL queries, interpret data models to support analysis and decision-making
• Understand and contribute to discussions on technical architecture and system design
• Proactively identify and resolve issues and suggest improvements in agile projects

You are a good candidate for this position if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
• Fluency in French (C1) and good command of English (B2/C1)
• Solid experience in requirements analysis, user stories, story mapping and testing documentation
• Strong technical skills, including SQL and database modeling
• Good understanding of technical architecture and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive and independent work approach

It is a great advantage if you have:

• Experience in the banking industry
• Familiarity with configuration and parameterization processes

Language required for the position:

• Fluent in English (communicative level)
• Professional in French (C1 level)
