Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).
As a Murex Development Specialist, you will be working for our client within the Regulatory IT team, focusing on enhancing and maintaining core Murex software systems used in financial services. Your expertise will support critical projects that impact trading, risk assessment, and compliance operations, contributing to technological excellence and operational resilience.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement corrective and evolving maintenance tasks for the Murex platform following agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver high-quality solutions within project scopes.
- Regularly communicate project progress and achievements to stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality and efficiency of deliveries, adhering to best practices.
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster continuous improvement.
- Contribute to enhancing development processes, tools, and automation testing for better reliability.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 4 years of experience in software development, particularly within the financial industry.
- Strong technical skills in Murex (Datamart, MSL, Exchange MXML), Shell scripting, SQL (Oracle), PL SQL, XSLT/XSL/XML/HTML, SOAP, Python, GIT.
- Proven experience working in agile teams.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Additional certifications or experience in financial software development.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
