Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model.

As a Mid-Level Manual Tester – Quality Assurance, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the insurance industry, dedicated to delivering reliable and innovative solutions. Your work will focus on ensuring that developed User Stories meet the highest standards of quality, contributing to the delivery of dependable insurance services and fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to verify that User Stories fulfill specified requirements and quality criteria.
• Develop and document clear, verifiable test cases and acceptance criteria based on User Story specifications.
• Manually perform functional, regression, and integration tests, and execute automated scripts to identify regressions and validate features.
• Log defects effectively and communicate findings clearly to development teams.
• Assist with the estimation of testing efforts during Agile planning sessions.
• Contribute to sprint reviews by highlighting trends, issues, and improvement areas.
• Identify automation opportunities and distribute test automation coverage across API increment stories.
• Collaborate with developers to define automation scenarios, prepare test data, validate automated scripts, and execute automation tests for User Stories.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 2+ years of experience in manual and automated testing within software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and market-leading testing tools.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Jest.
• Hands-on experience with backend testing tools like JUnit, Bruno.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Cucumber.
• Practical understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of life insurance domain (preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong reporting and communication skills, with proficiency in English and French.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in testing standards or automation tools.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Good command of French (spoken and written)
