Mid-level manual tester – alm, agile, cucumber, jira, jmeter

As a Mid-Level Manual Tester, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the IT industry, dedicated to delivering robust and reliable software solutions. You will contribute to comprehensive testing processes, ensuring seamless user experiences and high-quality product releases. Your main responsibilities:

• Execute manual testing cycles using ALM, Agile, and other methodologies to verify software functionality.
• Develop and maintain test cases in Gherkin syntax and manage testing workflows within JIRA.
• Utilize testing tools such as JMeter, Postman, and Kanest/Kanest File to identify issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to refine test scripts and ensure coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve testing practices.
• Document defects and track progress to facilitate timely resolution and quality assurance.
• Support automation testing efforts where applicable to enhance testing efficiency.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, particularly manual testing.
• Strong familiarity with ALM, Agile frameworks, Cucumber, JIRA, and testing tools like JMeter and Postman.
• Knowledge of MBT, Sopa UI, and Yest is a plus.
• Good understanding of testing cycles and methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and write Gherkin scenarios effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certification in ISTQB or similar testing standards.
• Experience with automation tools or frameworks.

Language required for the role:

• Proficient in English and French.
