As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking technology industry. You’ll contribute to the development and enhancement of applications within the Calypso platform, focusing on critical collateral management and cash processing functionalities. This role offers a chance to work at the forefront of financial technology, supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance, while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications within the Calypso framework to support collateral and cash management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with operational and business goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth application performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software development and testing.
• Assist in integrating Calypso with other banking systems and tools within the client's technology stack.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in Java development, especially within financial services.
• Familiarity with the Calypso platform and its application development.
• Proven experience with SpringBoot framework.
• Understanding of back-office operations in investment banking, especially collateral and cash management.
• Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with other banking or financial software systems.
• Professional certifications related to Java or financial technology.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English, with excellent communication skills.
