As a Mid-Level Java/Angular Fullstack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the insurance industry, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions. Join a dynamic team to develop and enhance applications critical to the client’s operations, driving innovation and efficiency in their digital transformation journey.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Java and Angular.
- Take ownership of coding, testing, and deploying features following agile best practices.
- Support integration with REST APIs and backend services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Document technical specifications and solutions clearly for team collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deadlines.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in software development, specifically in Java and Angular frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java (8, 17, 21), Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST API design.
- Experience with version control tools like GitLab and development tools such as IntelliJ, Jenkins, Maven.
- Knowledge of database management with Oracle or Postgres.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Spring Boot and associated Java frameworks.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Certifications related to Java, Angular, or Agile practices.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Professional command of French (written and spoken).
