Intermediate Fullstack Java & Angular Developer – Maintenance and Evolution of Applications

Opportunity based in Porto with a hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As an Intermediate Fullstack Java & Angular Developer, you will work for our client, a leader in the financial industry committed to continuous modernization and technological excellence. You will help deliver valuable evolutions and maintenance on the REFA Applications Repository, contributing to scalable and resilient software solutions that impact critical business operations in a dynamic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code in Java and Angular, ensuring high-quality application functionality.
• Actively participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to implementation.
• Assist in the preparation, testing, and release of application updates, ensuring smooth delivery.
• Bring innovative technical solutions and expertise to solve complex problems with integrity and accountability.
• Collaborate within agile teams, demonstrating accountability, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

You are ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java and Angular development.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with JPA/Hibernate and Spring Boot (more than 2 years).
• Proficiency in SQL databases, preferably Oracle.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Learning and sharing mindset, with a passion for technology and quality.

It is a great asset if you have:

• Knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release.
• Experience with Openshift, JSF, PrimeNg, and Web Services (REST).
• Skills in French.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Scrum, Kanban.

Fluent English (mandatory).
