As a Mid-Level Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the technology and operations sector, committed to delivering innovative Data solutions within Corporate Function IT. You will join a dynamic, transversal team based in Porto, collaborating closely with colleagues in Paris to create impactful data pipelines and drive digital transformation initiatives. Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize Datalake pipelines using Python and PySpark to ensure scalable and efficient data processing.
- Analyze requirements and propose robust architecture solutions within the Datalake environment.
- Gather, document, examine, and manage application requirements within an Agile development framework.
- Implement diverse use cases, promoting automation and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain and support existing data processes, ensuring seamless operation and addressing technical needs.
- Collaborate closely with business users, analysts, data engineers, and developers to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Over 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
- At least 4 years of professional experience with Big Data and NoSQL technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Kerberos, or Starburst.
- Proficiency with Python and PySpark; Spark experience is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Data Modeling principles and SQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, Source Code Management (Git), Jenkins, and deployment tools like XL Deploy and XL Release.
- Good command of English (fluent), and French language skills are highly valued.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Performance optimization experience, including shell scripting and execution plans.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate.
- Microsoft Certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, etc.).
- Experience with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Rest APIs, SSAS, SSIS, or Azure environment.
- French language skills.

- Fluent in English and French.
