As an Intermediate AI Engineer, you will work for our client, a visionary leader in the technology industry focused on developing advanced AI-guided features. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement AI-guided features, including AI classifiers, conversational AI modules, and productivity tools.
• Integrate language model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) into scalable, production-ready applications.
• Optimize prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and work with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, and pgvector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement API architecture and microservices on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Write clean, tested, and efficient code, ensuring high-quality deliverables and sustainable solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to expedite development workflows.
• Engage in continuous learning of ML fundamentals, model evaluation, and understanding limitations to enhance model performance.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers, product managers, and stakeholders.

You are a good candidate for this position if you have:

• Over 2 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Practical experience working with language model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.).
• Solid knowledge in prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
• Proficiency in designing REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Basic understanding of ML fundamentals, such as embeddings, model evaluation, and failure modes.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate with senior engineers, product, and design teams.

It’s a big plus if you have:

• Experience in Insurtech, Fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Certifications or additional experience in AI/Machine Learning.
