Junior Run Engineer – Backend Focus (TypeScript, Firebase, GCP)

As a Junior Run Engineer – Backend Focus (TypeScript, Firebase, GCP), you will be working for our client in the tech industry, dedicated to maintaining and improving support systems and backend environments. Join a vibrant team driving efficiency through support, development, and tooling enhancements—paving the way for scalable, resilient solutions. This role offers a unique growth trajectory within a dynamic cloud-focused environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Understand and troubleshoot support issues, collaborating effectively with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team.
  • Gain high administrative access on production environments to identify and implement fixes.
  • Develop tooling and solutions to reduce support tickets and overall incident volume.
  • Contribute to back-office development tasks focused on backend systems.
  • Evolve into a member of the development team, taking on more complex projects.
  • Maintain and improve codebases using TypeScript, Firebase, and GCP, focusing primarily on backend fixes (95%), with minor front-end tasks (5%).

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • Up to 1 year of experience in backend development or technical support.
  • Proficiency with Typescript, Firebase, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with support ticket resolution and backend tooling.
  • Strong communication skills in French.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with support systems or cloud environments.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks.
  • Any certifications related to GCP or Firebase.

Language Required for the role:

  • Fluent French (spoken and written).
