As an Expert Cloud Engineer – AWS & Kubernetes Specialist, you will be working for our client, a forward-thinking technology company driving transformation in cloud solutions. Your main responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy EKS clusters from scratch to support scalable applications.
- Migrate existing EKS environments to enhance performance and security.
- Maintain and optimize ongoing EKS environments by implementing new features and updates.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Terraform for Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline deployment workflows.
- Ensure robust security and compliance standards across cloud environments.
- Support and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, resolving issues efficiently.
- Document and transfer knowledge to team members to foster continuous improvement.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proven expertise in building EKS clusters from scratch and managing migrations.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) architecture and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with cloud security standards and operational maintenance.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Previous experience working on gaming or betting platforms.
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
- Additional scripting skills, such as Python.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
