Network Engineer Expert

IT House is recruiting a Network Engineer Expert to strengthen the team of a leading client in Lisbon.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Design, secure, and deliver sustainable, robust and scalable network solutions aligned with business and IT strategies;
• Contribute to medium- and long-term network product evolution and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Lead architecture, standardization and transformation projects across enterprise network environments;
• Participate in architecture definition, integration, and deployment of solutions based on Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T;
• Define and improve operating models for network infrastructure and services;
• Ensure high-quality delivery and operational support of network solutions;
• Provide expert-level support for P1/P2 incidents and contribute to problem management activities;
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, security teams, CTO office, and cross-functional IT teams in an international matrix environment;
• Drive network automation initiatives using Terraform, Ansible and Python;
• Maintain and improve infrastructure documentation and retro-documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering within international and matrix organizations;
• Strong expertise in Data Center technologies, especially Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T;
• Solid experience with Network Security, SASE, segmentation technologies, identity services, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, MPLS, Wi-Fi, and Voice solutions;
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Python);
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network architecture, infrastructure trends, and transformation programs;
• Professional English proficiency is mandatory.
