Platform Engineer (Governance & Migration)

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to support governance workflows, service onboarding, and registry migration initiatives across enterprise agent platforms.

The role focuses on automating migration processes, implementing governance lifecycle controls, and ensuring compliance with platform standards and approval workflows. The ideal candidate has experience with Python-based data processing, platform operations, and enterprise governance integrations.

What you will do

• Design and implement migration and onboarding processes for platform services, agents, and registry-managed assets.
• Develop Python-based ETL and automation scripts to support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
• Implement governance lifecycle workflows covering submission, review, approval, activation, deprecation, and retirement stages.
• Build automation supporting approval gates and policy-driven promotion to active platform status.
• Validate migrated records, metadata quality, lifecycle status transitions, and governance compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams to ensure governance processes are consistently applied.
• Create operational tooling to support large-scale onboarding and migration activities.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and maintain data quality throughout governance workflows.
• Produce technical documentation, migration procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of platform governance and lifecycle management capabilities.

What you need for this

• Python ETL scripting

• Registry governance lifecycle (approval gates → active status)

Experience:

• 3+ years of platform or data engineering

• Enterprise governance workflow integration
