INSCALE is looking for Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Platform & Operations to join our Lisbon office in a hybrid work model (3 days in-office).
As a Senior Software Engineer, TechOps (Java), you will be responsible for handling incidents in JYSK production environment as well as making sure JYSK's applications are performing and keeping stable operations.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer - Platform & Operations (Java), you need to be very capable of working independently on highly complex tasks ensuring right involvement of stakeholders.
- Possesses a strong knowledge on relevant technology and business domains within JYSK and takes a proactive role in sparring with stakeholders on possible solution designs.
- Has the ability to take technical ownership of system-, technology- or application areas.
- Naturally takes responsibility for estimation and coordination of own tasks, including ensuring these are in line with overall strategy or guidelines within the department.
- Takes the lead in doing product breakdown and software development in the support team.
- With high responsibility for tasks and solutions the senior employee sets directions, guides colleagues and facilitates solution designs and supports the agile development processes.
- Is proactive in ensuring continuous personal and professional development and becoming a better craftsman.
- Assist the RTM organization by handling production issues and technical support.
- Takes responsibility for incident management and facilitating postmortems.
Qualifications
Must have skills:
- 5- 8 years of experience in software development with Java.
- 5+ years working with Spring Boot.
- Experience with SQL.
Good to have:
- Experience with Kafka.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills.
Traveling
Travelling to Brabrand, Denmark based on project requirement or the Manager. Expect around 2 days every 3 months for PI planning.
