Senior Java Software Developer

Inscale is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our Lisbon office in a hybrid work model (3 days in-office). Become a part of JYSK, one of the world’s largest retail chains!

Responsibilities

The Java team is responsible for a wide range of in-house developed applications. So, you will get the opportunity to work in different business areas and with different technologies.

• Are passionate about IT and software development
• Are skilled Java developers, who continuously strive to improve their skills
• Write a clean code and create software architecture that are flexible
• Are experienced with Java web technologies
• Write thorough tests of the code and are familiar with test driven development
• Can drive and facilitate design discussions
• Have extensive knowledge of distributed systems and concurrency

Qualifications

Must Have Skills:

• 6-8 years of experience in software development with Java
• 5+ years working with Spring Boot
• Experience with SQL

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Cloud Native engineering
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Test Driven Development (TDD)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills.

Additional Information

Travelling to Brabrand, Denmark based on project requirement or the Manager. Expect around 2 days every 3 months for PI planning.

Hybrid work model: 3 times a week work from Lisbon office (Avenida da Liberdade, Nr. 36, 7th floor, Lisbon); 2 days a week from home.

Compensation (gross monthly salary): €3,800 - €4,800 (Senior Level). The role is typically placed around €4,300 gross/monthly, depending on the experience and scope.
