Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring framework.
  • Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices.
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of production issues.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members when required.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and REST API development.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with Git and code review practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
  • Knowledge of Docker and AWS cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent in English – written and spoken.
