QA Consultant

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and enterprise applications
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy definition
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities
• Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards
• Support release validation and deployment activities
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
• Ensure timely reporting of testing progress, risks, and issues

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual testing)
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Experience designing and executing test cases and test scenarios
• Experience with defect management and bug-tracking tools
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English – written and spoken (mandatory)
• Based in Lisbon (mandatory)
