Senior java software engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our Client’s team under a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a referential data application supporting electronic equities platforms

- Ensure high standards of data quality, performance, and security across the platform

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, documentation, and code reviews

- Collaborate with production support teams for release management and maintenance

- Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide L3 support when needed

- Contribute to the development of scalable backend systems using Java and Spring frameworks

- Support frontend components built with Angular and React (SPAs) when applicable

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in software development

- Strong expertise in Java (1.8+) and Spring Framework (Core, IoC, Batch)

- Solid experience with RDBMS and SQL

- Experience with asynchronous messaging systems

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and Shell scripting

- Experience working in Agile environments

- Ability to understand complex codebases and contribute to their evolution

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Fluency in English, both spoken and written

Nice to Have:

- Experience with frontend or full stack development (Angular and/or React)

- Exposure to Corporate Investment Banking, particularly Cash Equities
